PhotoCompressor Editors

The PhotoCompressor Editors write and maintain these guides. The practical advice comes from using this compressor on real photographs, not from a reused company biography.

This is the byline behind the compressor guides. It is an editorial desk for the site, not a claim that a particular public figure wrote each paragraph. We do not invent a degree, a headshot, or a social profile we do not have.

What we do have is the tool. Settings described on the JPEG, PNG, WebP and 100 KB pages are the settings we try on camera photos, screenshots and logos before we recommend them. When a default changes, the guide text changes with it.

What this desk is responsible for

Choosing the default quality, describing when PNG is the wrong container, and keeping the 15 language versions specific to how people search in that language. The pages should help someone finish a task: a smaller file, still recognizable, never uploaded.
